A Holden Monaro GTS Muscle Car Photographer in Sydney
This muscle car photographer session was booked for Jim who was given a La Lente Car Photography Gift Voucher for his birthday from his children. They wanted him to get a professional photo shoot for his Holden Monaro GTS muscle car that he has owned since new, aka ‘his baby’
The Holden Monaro is a rear-wheel drive coupé saloon car that was produced by Holden from 1968–1977 shown in HQ GTS specification in this photo gallery. Three generations of the Monaro muscle cars have been produced, with the final spawning a limited edition, the CV8-Z to say goodbye to the historic name in Australia. Sadly we have now seen the closure of Holden production in Australia by General Motors which makes some of these muscle car models quite collectible.
In fact the global classic car market has been quite stable compared to other forms of assets which have been depreciating. An AXA report on Art & Lifestyle noted the increase in demand for classic cars over the last 10 years with collectors moving from traditional vintage models with racing vehicles and muscle cars growing in popularity.
This muscle car photo shoot was taken in an empty industrial area where we used warehouse storage, quiet streets and a storage garage to take photos of this Monaro GTS.
The set of photos we created included a mix of full car, moving and static detail shots to help show off the car and its design highlights. Muscle cars have so much character that makes them amazing photography subjects compared to modern cars (which in general can be quite bland in comparison.)
