1972 Aston Martin DBS classic car photography

Aston Martin classic Car PhotographER in Sydney

As a classic car photographer in Sydney we had the pleasure of taking photos of this beautiful 1972 Aston Martin DBS. We took these photos in an empty warehouse area in Artarmon. The owner was preparing to list the classic car for sale and wanted high quality photos to help the vehicle stand out from the other cars listed on all the websites including Car Sales, Facebook Marketplace etc

The Aston Martin DBS is a grand tourer produced by the British manufacturer Aston Martin Lagonda Limited from 1967 to 1972. The DBS was intended as the successor to the Aston Martin DB6, although the two ran concurrently for three years. Powered by a straight-six engine, it was produced from 1967 until 1972, eventually being phased out in favour of the Aston Martin V8

The Aston Martin DBS has a beautiful interior with analogue dials, lots of metal control surfaces and leather seats with splashes of chrome throughout.

The interior of a 1972 Aston Martin DBS is a blend of classic British luxury and understated elegance. Stepping inside, you’re greeted by an array of high-quality materials that reflect the craftsmanship of the era. The cabin is lined with sumptuous leather, typically in subdued colours such as black, tan, or dark green, enveloping the seats, door panels, and parts of the dashboard. The seats are generously cushioned, with a combination of support and comfort, and often feature hand-stitched detailing.

The dashboard is a masterpiece of simplicity and functionality, adorned with a combination of polished wood veneer and brushed metal. Its design emphasises symmetry, with a cluster of round analogue gauges, including a speedometer, tachometer, and auxiliary dials, set within a central binnacle. These gauges have crisp white lettering on black faces, ensuring clarity and timeless appeal.

The steering wheel is typically a three-spoke design, often finished with polished aluminium and a wooden rim, enhancing the vintage aesthetic. Plush carpeting covers the floors, adding to the luxurious atmosphere, while chrome accents highlight the door handles and switches.

Overall, the 1972 Aston Martin DBS interior is a harmonious blend of sophistication and practicality, epitomising the elegance of British motoring from the early 1970s

What is the benefit of hiring a classic car photographer in Sydney?

As an owner of a classic car your potential buying audience could be any collector in Australia or overseas.

Getting professional photos taken will help maximise the resale value and attract a large number of buyers. The images will stand out on website listings & the detail will inspire confidence in potential buyers immediately.

Photos taken with mobile phones or by people who are not experienced at taking photos of cars will typically suffer from poor composition, an inability to deal with tricky lighting conditions and provide very little creativity.

A professional photographer solves all of those problems, takes better quality photos & can capture the essence of the vehicle to grab the most attention of buyers.

The other benefit is having the photos professionally edited, you can see some of the before and after comparisons that add a sense of drama and impact to each photo.
